- If you need icons for your desktop, click the download link to get the chosen icon set in ICO format. All sets are in ZIP archives so you should have WinZip or other ZIP tool installed to extract them.
- If you need GIFs for your web site, right-click the icon image you like and choose Save Picture As from the context menu to save it to your hard drive. Direct linking to images is not allowed!
! Tip: The endless routine of saving a good deal of GIFs from a web page by right-clicking on each one is indeed annoying no end so you may probably be tempted to download a set of ICOs instead. Don't! Converting images from ICO to GIF is a bad practice - you will lose the transparent background. There is a simple solution, though: just save the page the images are on. After that they can be found in the folder named after the saved page and suffixed with _files, e.g. if the page was saved as
index.php, then look for the folder
index.php_files in the same location.
